Wow... I can't believe my baby is almost 2! He is a year and a half today and boy does time fly. We had his check up today and he is amazing, just as this momma predicted :0) He weighs 25 lbs. and some change and is nearly 35 inches long. He is developmentally at 24 months and impressed Dr. Lanza with his social zest! The doctor said that this is usually the visit where the kids become much more shy and afraid of him but not little Linc. He zipped right over to the doc wearing his diaper and tennis shoes and offered him a cheerio! Then he showed off his dance moves, spinning and stomping in the tiny little room. Linc is still such a performer! The ear check didn't phase him, the eye test was a breeze, he sat perfectly still while they measured his still GIANT head all the while soaking in everything that the nurse and doctor were doing. And then the shots came... he didn't appreciate that woman. Poor lady has the worst job ever as far as I am concerned. Linc fussed when every other person left the room except her. He didn't care if he never saw her again. He did well though only crying a bit and settling down quickly. Poor baby, I still hate the darn shots. After the doctors visit we took Linc to the park and he showed Papa how he can go down the slide all by himself and how to chase the ducks and geese. Linc loves the park so it was a nice distraction from the "owies" that the shots left.
